So, you wanna be an NPC* *Non-player character In video game live directed sessions, you may be given random NPCs at the end of your session, once you've finished up your scripted character work. These could be one-liner characters, or a handful of lines. For characters such as guard 6, townsfolk 2, soldier 1, guy 3... you get the gist. In this session, you'll be given characters that your voice might be suited to. Please note if you're only comfortable voicing one character gender when signing up. Otherwise, by default every actor could be given a wide variety (kids, elders, teens, adults of varying voice gender profiles). NPCs will be grouped by game genre and general tone/theme. Such as dark fantasy, scifi, kid's game etc. Scripts will be assigned in the session, to best simulate the working environment, unless you have low-no vision and need to set up a screen reader or similar. Sarah will go over tips on creating characters on the fly, and will offer 1-1 direction during this workshop too. It's a very practical workshop. Interesting in booking on as an Observer?
